Diamondbacks spring training Gameday Thread, #14: 3/14 vs. Giants

Hopefully, this will go as well as the last time we played the Giants

Suggestion to Mr. Anderson: please, throw strikes. That seemed to be a major issue for the pitching staff who played in the afternoon game at Salt River Fields. A win would be nice, too, since the second week Diamondbacks have found those an awful lot harder to come by than the first week ones. Of course, I'm still not bothered: it's only spring training, and we are still above .500 in Cactus League play, going into tonight's game. However, the closer we get to Opening Day, the more likely it feels like results should reflect true level of 25-man roster talent. I'd rather we sucked at the beginning, then got better, than the other way around.
