Here is the third of four batches of nominees for the 2015 play of the year. Small video of each has been embedded as a reminder of the play, or you can click on the header link, which will open a new tab with a larger version of the video on MLB.com. Pick your favorite of these five in the poll at the bottom. The winner of each group, and the highest-scoring runner up, will advance to the final vote, which will take place next week.

8/3: Inciarte's bare-handed force

Ender Inciarte fields Anthony Rendon's flare with his bare hand and fires to second, nabbing Yunel Escobar on a forceout in the 4th

8/5: Hill diving catch

Aaron Hill makes a diving catch on Jose Lobaton's line drive for the final out of the 4th inning.

8/16: Inciarte's clutch catch

Ender Inciarte sends the game into extra innings with a diving catch in right-center to rob Michael Bourn of a walk-off hit. With two men on, this was the very definition of a game-saving play.

8/18: Goldschmidt's DP brings extra innings

Andrew McCutchen is called safe after Paul Goldschmidt makes a terrific grab and starts a double-play, but after a review, the call is overturned, taking us into extra innings.

8/20: Owings to Goldy to out

Chris Owings makes a backhanded play in the hole and Goldschmidt gets the runner out on a swipe tag, after a safe call is overruled, preventing the Reds from taking the lead.
