Snakepit VintageFest 2015

Come watch Old Timey Baseball with fellow Pit members as cranks and participants on December 19th!

The offseason Snakepit events train keeps on chugging, and it can't turn around because that's not how trains work. This time, come join us at an Arizona Territories Vintage Base Ball League Tripleheader on Saturday, December 19th in Glendale.

Come watch three teams, one of which I currently play for, duke it out for 21 total innings or so (Vintage games are 7 innings) at a field by a church that is right across the street from University of Phoenix Stadium.

The ATVBBL plays by 1860s rules. You can find all of the specific rule variations (too many to list here) on the website linked above, but there are enough to know the difference, plus all the teams involved will be wearing vintage looking uniforms and equipment.

Yours truly will be playing for the Tucson Saguaros as 1B/CF/UTIL/Etc, so if you always wanted to watch my athletic prowess, or at least heckle the ever-loving hell out of it, you should stop by.

Admission is free, and you can't do better than that. So come out you cranks and watch a ballyhoo of a match with strikers and hurlers and foul ticks and other slightly different terminology!
