While a deal seems highly unlikely at this point, Atlanta at least seems willing to listen to offers on their star shortstop as part of their rebuild process.
The unlikely performance by Marco Estrada has garnered him a qualifying offer. It would seem, however; that the Blue Jays may extend him before the Friday deadline by which Estrada needs to accept or decline the one-year deal.
The 39-year-old backstop is poised to continue on as the Braves' primary option behind the plate in 2016.
