Poll of the Week: 2016 SnakePit Hall of Fame

As we did last year, let's see who the SnakePit would elect into Cooperstown!

The 2016 BBWAA Hall of Fame Ballot is located below, so please select which player or players you think should be elected into the SnakePit Hall of Fame during next year's induction ceremony [probably to take place at a local Arriba's or something], We proved a tougher crowd to impress than the actual voters. Last year saw Randy Johnson and Pedro Martinez make it in to our inaugural class, both by a wide margin (Johnson being elected unanimously), with actual Cooperstown residents Craig Biggio and John Smoltz just missing out. Both of those therefore return to the ballot, along with the others up for election on the 2016 BBWAA ballot.

Below, you'll find the list of nominees for whom you can vote and here are their career stats, if you want additional data. SnakePit usernames are required, in order to prevent stuffing of the ballot-box, but I won't be enforcing the maximum of 10 selections. If you think they're all worth electing, go for it - but since your name will be attached, do not be surprised if you get asked hard question about voting for Brad Ausmus! Voting will be open for a bit, and I'll announce the results around the tine the actual Hall of Fame Class is announced, in January next year. As before, you need to be named on 75% of ballots in order to qualify.

I suspect we may end up with the same single inductee as the BBWAA, unless Smoltz and/or Biggio make it in, but let's see what happens. Feel free to make the case for your chosen peeps in the comments!
