Diamondbacks 1, Giants 2

Neither team was really lighting things up offensively today. The Diamondbacks never really put anything together against Jake Peavy, only managing four hits and one run against him in seven innings. Inciarte, Owings, Pollock, and Trumbo all got  hits, but other than that, everyone else was futile against Peavy.

Josh Collmenter started the game and over all pitched very well tonight. The Giants had a lot of hard hit balls, but only a couple actually ended up hurting him, one of those being a Buster Posey home run to put San Fransisco on the board. They also struck again in the seventh inning, thanks to three consecutive singles from Pence, Ishikawa, and Crawford, to put another run on the board to break a one-all tie. That ended up being the difference in the game, despite Collmenter going eight innings and only allowing 2 runs. 2-1 was our final, after Harris and De La Rosa pitched for Dbacks in the ninth. Full recap to follow.
