The Diamondbacks jumped on Marlins starter Tom Koehler in the 2nd inning, starting off with Martin Prado hitting a solo shot to make it 1-0. David Peralta hit a two run double to make it 3-0 and Miguel Montero also hit a two run double to make it 5-0.
More of the same in the 4th, Peralta tripled to bring in Inciarte to make it 6-0. A Goldy double and a Hill sac-fly made it 8-0 and chased Koehler early in the game.
Chase Anderson did just fine, as he only gave up one run in 6 innings pitched. He also struck out Giancarlo Stanton three times, which is fairly impressive.
The Marlins got a run on an Adeiny Hechavarria sac-fly in the 6th.
A Didi Gregorius triple to score Gerardo Parra made it 9-1 in the 7th and the bullpen held that score.
