Diamondbacks Can't Solve Leake
Despite appearances, Trevor Cahill actually pitched a decent game. The struggling right-hander went six innings and didn't walk anyone, while holding the Reds to three runs in hitter friendly Great American Ballpark. Unfortunately for Cahill, the Diamondbacks' bats were apparently still in bed recovering from the previous night's marathon game as they only managed to put together five hits and no runs. Paul Goldschmidt continued his struggles, and now has 14 strikeouts in his last 30 ABs. Bo Schultz wasted no time in his return to the team pitching a scoreless two innings.
