SnakePit Fantasy Baseball: Week 15

New, comments

Really, "Week and a half 15", since with the All-Star break, this round of games was extended to cover both sides. Lot of high scores as a result, but most of the games were decided by one point or less...

Trumboner 5, The Rusty Trumbones 5
Despite Pitcher of the Week Gray (three W, 0.94 ERA) and four Saves by Chapman for Trumboner, the Trumbo-themed battled ended level. The Trumbones got two Wins and 15 strikeouts by Kluber, plus Wright and Werth each had two HR and eight RBI; Davis had three HR for Trumboner.

Trail-Hitters vs. Alabama Slammers

Trail vs. Alabama is the ESPN Game of the Week, pitting second against third, and after 15 weeks, the two sides are separated only by half a point, so it should be a close one. Trail have a balanced team, with winning H2H records in three hitting categories and three pitching ones. Their best is SB (11-2-2) and their worst RBI (4-10-1). Alabama, however, have relied heavily on pitching: they eke out only a win in RBI on offense, but have done much better on pitching. That includes the best record in any category for K's at 14-1-0, but they've struggled in Saves, going 4-8-3.
