Last week I challenged you to pick a Diamondback and describe what All-Star skill competition in which they would participate:

Gold-star_medium

Cody Ross

in the 5 K

Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. - William B Cameron 1963

Silver-star_medium

Addison Reed

Home Run Derby pitcher

weltanschauung

Martin Prado and Aaron Hill

Hitting into Double Plays competition

How will they outdo each other? Runners on 1st, or 2nd, or 3rd. Grounding into them, lining into them, bunting into them, popping up into them. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!

Cards/Bears/Suns/D-Backs/Yotes/Sun Devils

Carson Palmer, he goes long

TOOTBLANATHON

Gerardo Parra in a two day competition being thrown out on the basepaths and then throwing other people out on the basepaths

I used to be disgusted, now I try to be amused....

Bronze-star_medium

Paul Goldschmidt

in the Doing Nothing But Winning Competition, presented by Charlie Sheen

Whatever you've got planned, forget it. I'm the Doctor. I'm from the planet Gallifrey, in the constellation of Kasterborous. I am the Oncoming Storm, the Bringer of Darkness. And you... are basically just a rabbit, aren't you? ~The Doctor
Owes AZDbacksFannDC a year supply of Michelob Ultra (as defined by one beer a day) if the Dbacks go 81-0 in the second half. Or not.

Good depth often has to come from within, in the form of younger talent. Depth is hard to build overnight, but it’s easy to deplete.: Jeff Sullican

Now that we've reached the halfway* point, it's time to start over. Kishi is our first half champion, and starting next week the standings will be cleared away. He'll face off against the second half champion (assuming he doesn't win again, in that case I don't know).

The good news for you, possible participant, is that you don't have a large gap to make-up. Your day is tomorrow. Seize it!

No challenge this week, but if you one want to complain about the Diamondbacks or make jokes about them, then feel free to do it in the comments.
