Diamondbacks 16, Rockies 8

The Diamondbacks started the scoring off right away with a solo home run from Didi Gregorius to start the game, and then just kept the offensive onslaught going until the end of the game. The Rockies held a lead as late as the start of the eighth inning, but Arizona put the pedal down, scoring six runs in the eighth inning and another five runs in the ninth. Arizona put up 21 hits on the night, and Miguel Montero put up 6 RBIs, including a three run home run in the ninth inning, while Paul Goldschmidt had 4 RBIs on the night.

Josh Collmenter started for Arizona, giving up four runs in five innings. Brad Ziegler picked up the win in relief. By taking the game, the Diamondbacks win the series against the Rockies, giving them their sixth loss in a row, and go into tomorrow's game looking for a potential sweep.
