The San Francisco Giants scored three runs off Diamondbacks starter Brandon McCarthy and hung on for a 6-4 win over the D-backs Saturday night at Chase field.

Tyler Colvin drove in three runs and the San Francisco Giants snapped a season-high six -game losing streak with a 6-4 victory over the Ariznona Diamondbacks on Saturday night.

McCarthy's early struggles too much for D-backs -

McCarhty (1-10) struggled at the outset, allowing three run in the first inning. The Giants sent nine men to the plate that inning and got an RBI single from Pablo Sandoval and a two-run single from Tyler Colvin. One inning later, McCarthy ran into problems with two outs when he allowed a double to Buster Posey and a runscoring single by Sandoval as San Francisco went up 4-0.
