SnakeBytes 5/23: Swept Away

A case of a better team playing better baseball as the Cardinals swept the D-backs in St. Louis. The D-backs had their chances for sure, but when they score 9 of their 12 runs with 2 outs in the series, something is off. We'll see if the D-backs can turn it around in New York as they face the pitiful Mets starting today.

They scored two-out runs on us this whole series. They're very good at it, they have been.

I knew he wanted to stay in the game and I thought he earned that. I gave him a chance to shut them down and chance to get the win, but he gave up the hit and it didn't work out.

That's what he's trying to do, He's diving a little bit just trying to hit the ball the other way. In that situation he's trying to get back on track and you make a better pitch and it's a different situation.
