Cards Spoil Comeback, Win in 12

The Diamondbacks finally pushed their first runs of the series across the plate when Gerardo Parra hit a two-run shot in the eighth inning to lift the Diamondbacks to a 2-1 lead.  Brad Ziegler was brought on for the bottom half of the inning, but was unable to prevent the Cardinals from tying things up. The Cardinals eventually won the game in the 12th on a bases-loaded, nobody out error by Chris Owings in an attempt to get the winning run out at the plate.
