AZ SnakePit 3, CGS 7
Leaders Snake fell to CGS, who took all five hitting categories, behind Francisco's three HR and seven RBI. Walker also homered twice for them. Snake had better success on the mound, where Romo notched three Saves, but Darvish struck out 11, allowing CGS to canter to victory.
Gregorius B.I.G. 2, Disabled Waffles 8
The biggest blowout went to Waffles, who overcame their pitching injuries, behind Wilson's W and 15 strikeouts, with Lee adding a W + 10 K. Rosenthal had three Sv for BIG. On offense, Waffles got three HR by Solarte, and two + seven RBI from Cruz. Freeman matched Cruz for Gregorius.
Sofa King Juiced 6, Trumboner 4
Trumboner pitched well, racking up seven W and 80 K, led by Cole (W + 14 K) and Estrada (W + 12 K); Pitcher of the Week Hernandez had two W + 12 K for Sofa. Trumboner were doomed by hitting below the Uecker Line; Cabrera's two HR + 10 RBI was enough for Juiced to edge this one.
MyWieterGetzLongoria 2, Mizzoula Osprey 7
The Osprey moved back into 1st with this convincing win, behind Hitter of the Week Moss (three HR, 11 RBI); Donaldson and Encarnacion also had three HR apiece. They got two W + six K from Porcello, while Wieter had a W + 19 strikeouts from Price in a losing cause.
Trail-Hitters 5, Angry Saguaro 5
Nothing to split these sides. Saguaro just about edged hitting, with Gordon's two homers and six RBI their best; Jones had two HR and five RBI for Hitters. But the roles were reversed on the mound. Trail got two W and 11 K's from Shields, while Angry received four Sv by Nathan.
Got Grittiness? 4, Space Wizard 5
Space edged this one by the smallest possible margin, after Wins ended tied. Wizard took all the other pitching points, thanks to Lincecum's W + 17 K's, and also snatched SB; they also got four HR and six RBI from Ortiz. Puig had three HR + 10 RBI for Got, and Goldschmidt nine RBI.
The Rusty Trumbones 3, Alabama Slammers 7
The Slammers racked up 77 K's and a collective 1.77 ERA, Chavez's two W and 13 strikeouts leading the way; Holland had three Saves, as did Soriano for the Trombones. They also got two HR and six RBI from Teixeira, but Gardner's two HR and seven RBI for Alabama gave them victory.
