Dbacks 3, Nationals 1

The winning offense came courtesy of Miguel Montero and Paul Goldschmidt. Montero tied the game up at one with an RBI single to score Paul Goldschmidt in the third. Then in the next inning, the Paul Goldschmidt gave the Dbacks a two run lead thanks to his RBI double scoring Bronson Arroyo, who had two singles on the night,  and Martin Prado. That ended up being all the Dbacks needed tonight behind Arroyo's complete game.

A very well pitched game by both sides tonight. Arroyo pitched another stellar game tonight, getting a complete game and only giving up one run, and scattering seven hits and one walk. He never really gave the Nationals a chance to steal away momentum and really closed the door on them every chance he got. Meanwhile, Stephen Strasburg, the Nationals starter, was also pitching well, going seven innings and only giving up a respectable three runs. The Nats also got two shutout innings from their bullpen. Full recap to follow shortly!
