Triple A: Reno 3 @ Las Vegas 0. The Aces ran out of starting pitchers for tonight so they turned to Zeke Spruill and the bullpen to piece this one together. And boy did it ever work. Six pitchers combined for a 5-hit shutout including Spruill, Derek Eitel, Kevin Munson, Joe Paterson, Will Harris and Jess Todd. Backup catcher Bobby Wilson went 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI and Trent Oeltjen hit a solo home run.
Double A: Mobile 2 Jackson 4. Bryan Woodall couldn't get out of the 3rd inning and the offense managed just a pair of solo home runs in the 4-2 defeat. The home runs came from Jordan Parraz and Raywilly Gomez.
High A: Visalia 3 @ Lake Elsinore 4. Jesse Darrah had a pretty good start going 7 innings and allowing 3 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks while striking out 3. The game was tied at 3-3 heading into the bottom of the 9th but usually reliable reliever Seth Simmons had control troubles and the winning run was scored on a sacrifice fly. Kevin Medrano went 4 for 5 and stole his 6th base out of the leadoff spot and is hitting .324 with a .376 OBP. Brandon Drury went 0 for 4 but had 2 RBI.
A: South Bend @ Bowling Green. Postponed due to weather.
