Diamondbacks 5, Phillies 4

Behind a solid start from Josh Collmenter, the D-backs won their third game in a row.

Josh Collmenter threw six scoreless innings with five strikeouts and no runs allowed to secure the D-backs' second win at home this season. Although four of the six leadoff hitters he faced were able to reach safely, there never really was any threat of runs crossing against the right hander on the night.

Aaron Hill had himself a night with three RBIs on a two-run home run in the fourth and a ground rule double in the fifth. Paul Goldschmidt collected his 15th RBI of the season with a single in the fifth, and A.J. Pollock hit a solo shot in the eighth.

The Arizona defense and bullpen tried their hardest to give the game away in the final three innings, but the Phillies couldn't capitalize on the mistakes and dropped their 12th game of the year once Addison Reed finally closed the door in the ninth.
