Diamondbacks 4, Dodgers 2

The Diamondbacks won! What?

The Diamondbacks snapped a 6 game losing streak in Los Angeles tonight, but it wasn't for lack of trying.

Wade Miley and Zack Greinke dueled for five scoreless innings each (Miley had a no hitter through 4+) Miguel Montero got a solo home run in the 6th to make it 1-0 D'Backs.

Miley went out for the 7th inning after over 100 pitches. Ill-advised move? Probably, since Scott Van Slyke hit a home run off of him to tie the game at 7. J.J. Putz came in after Miley and locked it down.

The D'Backs took the lead on a bizarre sequence when Tony Campana scored from third base on a wild pitch on an intentional walk from Chris Withrow in the 9th. Addison Reed came in to try to get the save. He did not get the save, as he allowed a one-out solo shot to Juan Uribe to tie the game up. Into extras we go.

Both bullpens pitched scoreless 10th and 11th innings. The D'Backs took the lead for good in the 12th when Aaron Hill blooped a single that scored A.J. Pollock and Cliff Pennington. Trevor Cahill, of all people, got a 1-2-3 bottom of the inning to record the save.
