Diamondbacks 5, Dodgers 8

Zack Greinke was good, and Wade Miley wasn't. Arizona scored three in the ninth but it wasn't enough as they stay winless against the Dodgers this year yadda yadda yadda.

Wade Miley delivered a below-average outing against a Los Angeles team that seems right at home in Chase Field. After throwing up a zero in the first, he allowed five runs over the span of the second, third and fourth innings en route to his line of 5 IP 5 ER 8 H and 3 BB. Adrian Gonzalez continued his dominance of the Diamondbacks with his second two-run home run in as many games this series -- he now has 27 HR against us in his career. The Dodgers went on to score three more off the Arizona bullpen to secure the win.

Arizona managed to collect eight hits against Zack Greinke but couldn't drive anybody in when they got on base. The only run the D-backs scored of the Dodgers' starter was a pinch hit home run from A.J. Pollock. Cliff Pennington had an RBI single in the eighth. The D-backs loaded the bases against Brandon League in the ninth and were able to push across three in the inning behind a Montero sac fly and two-run Trumbo double, but it ultimately wasn't enough.

It'll be Trevor Cahill matched up against Dan Haren in the final game of the series on Sunday.
