Diamondbacks 5, Giants 4: Victory, not vengeance

I missed the top of the first inning. So, as far as I'm concerned, we scored twice in the bottom half, then Wade Miley, Will Harris and Addison Reed blanked San Francisco the rest of the way. Easy win. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

The Arizona Diamondbacks claimed their first win of the 2014 season. But it wasn't pretty and it wasn't easy., as they had to claw their way out of a four-run first inning deficit.

Wade Miley pitched better than both his ERA and the L would suggest from his first time out. He'll now be trying to even things up, by getting the first W by a Diamondback this year, at Chase Field tonight.
