Diamondbacks line-up
At time of writing i.e. departure for breakfast with Mrs. SnakePit-in-law, the line-up hadn't been announced - the team wasn't working out this morning, and with both games yesterday "on the road", there wasn't anyone around SRF to check the board where such things get pinned! But here's what it was when we faced Stults earlier in the week, with the likely pitchers for today. I'd expect something kinda similar.
- A.J. Pollock, CF
- Aaron Hill, 2B
- Paul Goldschmidt, 1B
- Martin Prado, 3B
- Mark Trumbo, LF
- Matt Tuiasosopo, RF
- Miguel Montero, C
- Cliff Pennington, SS
- Bo Schultz P
+ David Hernandez, Josh Collmenter, Addison Reed and Brad Ziegler
Hopefully, we can continue Stults's miserable spring which has seen him allow six runs over three inning in his two outings to date. As mentioned, the last time he pitched, on Tuesday, was against the D-backs and he only lasted one frame, as we sent eight to the plate. Good to see Goldschmidt back at first, having missed some games due to calf issues - he was back yesterday as a DH, easing him gently into things. Schultz has also been getting good reports out of camp, and the ongoing absence of Arroyo is likely responsible for Bo knowing baseball this afternoon. But will he be able to impress the tough crowd in right field?
Recap might be a bit delayed, for obvious reasons. :)
