Welp. Not sure how I'd feel if I'd bought a ticket to this game. Especially if I'd deliberately bought one to a later game, thinking that I'd probably get to see a good number of regulars. Admittedly, it's partly your own fault for buying a split-squad game - those are always a dicey proposition. But if you compare this line-up to the one below, there's no doubt who gets the sticky end of the lollipop. Ship all the n00bs on the bus and let the real players stay at Salt River Fields? Hard to say. But I had to look up a number of the players mentioned above, to make sure I got their first names correct. I'll draw a veil over exactly which ones!

Yeah, that's a bit more like it. It seems that Gibson is striving hard for consistency, especially at the top of the order, where the first five spots have seemed almost fixed over the last few spring games. Owings had a good game yesterday, and if he keeps that up, could be pulling away from Didi Gregorius down the stretch. What that will mean for Didi in the long-term, we'll have to wait and see... Miley had a solid, if unfortunate, outing against the Dodgers in Sydney and hopefully can continue to build on that. Now we know we won't be seeing Patrick Corbin again this season, we need everyone in the rotation, top to bottom, to boost their game.
