This season, D-backs fans can enjoy several new concessions items, including the D-bat Dog and the Venom Dog. The D-bat Dog, available at Big Dawgs, is an 18-inch corn dog stuffed with Cheddar cheese, jalapeno and bacon, served with chipotle ketchup, spicy mustard and fries, available for $25. Fans can spice it up with the new Venom Dog, a specially crafted foot-long habanero sausage topped with black beans, guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream, available for $10 at Red Hot! Grill locations.
The D-backs are also offering a new vegan option this year with the Bisbee Tamale and will be available at A-Zona for $8. The Bisbee Tamale, which gets its name from its origins in Tucson, is a local vegan tamale stuffed with soy chorizo, potatoes and pinto beans topped with salsa roja and guacamole. A new cocktail creation this season, the D-backs will offer the "We Back Jack", available at the Jack Daniel's location in section 117, which includes a mixture of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, Blood Orange Puree, Citrus Mix and Simple Syrup.
In addition to the new food items, the D-backs have added concessions and more locations for fans to enjoy the unique culinary creations. There will be two Wetzel's Pretzels locations (section 120 and 320) that will offer pretzels and lemonade at each stand. The new Altos Margarita Island, located along the main concourse at section 109, will serve up frozen margaritas as well as margaritas on the rocks for fans ages 21-plus.
The Coors Light Strike Zone has been renovated to include more seating and new furniture for fans to enjoy some of the best views in the ballpark from right field along the main concourse. With no reserved seats, plenty of seating is available on a first-come basis to watch a D-backs game with a group of 30 or more guests. The Coors Light Strike Zone also features a pool table, 10 plasma televisions, full-service bar and cocktail staff and a front-row seat to watch the pre-game and post-game FOX Sports Arizona broadcast.
Last year, the D-backs opened Game Seven Grill, located in the Gila River Casinos Plaza, which features a family-friendly atmosphere highlighted by memorabilia such as game-used jerseys, World Series programs, tickets, game balls and pennants from Game 7 of the 2001 World Series in which the D-backs won the only championship in Phoenix's major professional sports history. This year, Game Seven Grill has expanded the beer garden and will feature a live outdoor grill with hot dogs and burgers available for purchase while fans enjoy beverages outside. The upper level of Game Seven Grill has also been renovated to accommodate more indoor seating for fans along with prime balcony dining, offering great views of Chase Field and a festive pre-game atmosphere.
The D-backs have renovated a couple of suites along the Diamond Suite Level to offer fans additional unique ballpark experiences. One of the larger suites in the ballpark, the Press Box Suite, which is located directly behind home plate, next to the press box, will now feature a more upscale setting to enjoy D-backs baseball and will also showcase memorabilia and awards from D-backs milestones. The D-backs have also teamed up with Budweiser to create the Bud Box, located along the first base line, and feature Budweiser branding around the private suite. Fans that rent the Bud Box will have a chance to win items from the suite, including a 52-inch flat screen TV, Buck Hunter arcade game, autographed Luis Gonzalez jersey, autographed Opening Day baseballs, and Budweiser branded items such as glassware, stools, refrigerator, neon signs and a set of four leather chairs with a coffee table. Both the Press Box Suite and the Bud Box can be reserved for individual games.
The D-backs Team Shop will sell a custom-designed Arizona Diamondbacks Fender Stratocaster® guitar that will feature the D-backs logo and a scene depicting the Arizona desert, as well as a Major League Baseball logo adorning the neck plate. The unique collector's item will be available at the Team Shop beginning March 31.
