31 men travelling to Australia announced

Note that this list includes the additional players for the exhibition game against Team Australia on Friday night, and does not include the "inactive" pitchers such as Brandon McCarthy and Bronson Arroyo.

Most of these are much as expected, though again, remember that these are the traveling players, and there will still need to be some trimming as far as the roster goes. Six of these will not be on the actual 25-man roster for the two games - mostly pitchers, I suspect, though an outfielder less is probable. That would leave us with 14 position players and an 11-man pitching staff, which would seem about right. More details will emerge when the team arrives in Sydney, I imagine. Charles Brewer and Zeke Spruill are the two names that are something of a surprise, though both did have major-league experience with the team last season.
