Spring Training Game #17: Gameday Thread

Maybe we should just call this one a tie already, and be done with it? But this afternoon's game is the last of spring on Fox Sports Arizona, so we'll have the chance to watch as it unfolds.

Cahill's numbers so far this spring have been nothing to write home about, with seven earned runs in 6.1 innings of work, though like Corbin, he does have a very nice K:BB ratio of 8:1 so far. That's almost entirely the result of his last appearance, which was particularly rancid, as he was tagged for six runs in three innings, with his sinker not apparently sinking, the ball leaving the park twice. We'll definitely be looking for better from him this afternoon, as there'll be one more outing - I imagine on Sunday, the team's last game before they head to Australia - for him to get things tuned up correctly.
