D-backs launch podcast today on dbacks.com

Nice to see the team following in the SnakePit's footsteps. :) Though I'm willing to bet that theirs won't have a cliffhanger ending like Clefo's managed... Here are the details from the press release.

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced that they have created the D-backs Podcast which debuts this week on dbacks.com and iTunes. The show will be hosted by longtime radio broadcaster Greg Schulte (and television play-by-play announcer Steve Berthiaume.

The first episode of D-backs Podcast will be available today and will feature interviews with new D-backs Manager Chip Hale and ESPN National Baseball writer Buster Olney in a preview of next week's Winter Meetings. The second episode will come out shortly after the Winter Meetings are completed in San Diego and include candid conversations with D-backs executives, including Chief Baseball Officer Tony La Russa and General Manager Dave Stewart.

D-backs Podcast, which can be downloaded on the team's website and iTunes, will continue to provide insight and information to fans throughout the entire year, as Berthiaume and Schulte will tape episodes from road trips during the season. The free-flowing format will allow for in depth conversations with all of the key decision makers, players and staff at the D-backs, as well as prominent national baseball writers, broadcasters and celebrities.

Fans are encouraged to share their questions and thoughts via Twitter (@DbacksPodcast), as several recurring segments will be part of the show, including "Hey Gubna," a segment featuring Schulte's perspective on all things D-backs past and present, "Sabermetric Smackdown," and a dedicated Twitter segment.
