Quotes of the Day

“Just waking up knowing you’re going to a big-league ballpark is pretty cool. It’s kind of interesting, getting called up and having never been to any of these ballparks. It’s cool getting here for the first time, going in the dugout and checking out the fields. It’s fun just taking it in.”

- Chris Owings on his first major league experience.

“He’s had a hell of a year. I’ve been very pleased with what he’s done since he’s been up here, even with the home runs. Yeah, he’s given up a lot, but other than one or two starts in the last couple of months he’s been in every ballgame. He’s given us an opportunity to win.”

- Kevin Towers on Randall Delgado's season.

In light of this sentiment, it appears Randall Delgado – who would lead the majors in home runs allowed if he qualified for the league leaders  – might have his stay in Arizona cut short.
