Another woeful night during a woeful season. Things started off great with an Adam Eaton triple and an A.J. Pollock 2-run HR. Delgado had a decent night, going 5 innings only giving up 2 runs. It all fell apart when our diabolical lefty Tony Sipp came in to relieve Delgado and gave up no more than 3 runs, two of which were home runs. The bullpen as a whole was pretty bad. They coughed up 7 ER in all, with Sipp and Langwell being the worst offenders. Paul Goldschmidt hit his 35th homerun which gives him sole possession of the title of NL HR king.
The Rockies had a nice night offensively, with 13 hits and 4 runs. Even the pitcher Chacin got in on the fun with a homerun joining Tulowitzki, Blackmon and Dickerson in the homerun club for the night. Chacin had an okay outing, giving up 2 runs over 6 innings with 5 Walks and 0 strike outs.
