AZ SnakePit 6, CompleteGameShutout 4
Snake edged Shutout in a game whose result all but assured both teams of survival. AZ got two HR and five RBI from both Pence and Pierzynski; Ramirez homered twice for Complete. They also got two W + 16 K from Pitcher of the Week Shields; Garza fanned nine for Snake.
MyWieterGetzLongoria 4, Dirt McGrit 6
Dirt kept their playoff hopes very much alive, gritting out a narrow win over Wieter. They hit .343 for the week, with Morneau going deep twice and Hosmer driving in five. On pitching they got a W + 11 K from Sanchez, while Longoria got a W + two Sv from Kimbrel, plus 16 K by Ross.
Phoenix Platypi 2, Mizzoula Osprey 7
Mizzoula are play-off bound following a comfortable victory, behind Hitter of the Week Victorino (three HR, 10 RBI, .435), with Iwakuma striking out 14. Lowrie led the Phoenix hitters, scoring six Runs and driving in seven, with Lee picking up a Win and 11 strikeouts in defeat.
Alabama Slammers 5, Sofa King Juiced 5
Slammers have a rough schedule to end the year, but came away with a tie against leaders Juiced. Crisp had three HR and seven R for them, backed by three Sv from Janssen and two W by Kelly. Sofa countered with two W + 16 K from Greinke; Ellsbury had eight R + four SB.
Waffles 6, Moved Upton 3
Waffles make the post-season; Upton's season goes to the wire as a result of their defeat. Murphy scored and drove in seven for them, with Gonzalez getting a Win and eight K's. But Waffles got seven RBI from Prado, plus three Sv apiece by Soriano and Uehara, to secure victory.
Space Wizard 3, Got Grittiness? 6
Three HR and eight RBI led Got's hitters, with Bruce and Werth each homering twice. Frieri notched a Win and three Saves, though they need a miracle to play on past next week. Soriano had three HR and seven RBI for Space, with Choo homering twice in a losing cause.
The Fighting Amish 9, Blonde Streaks 1
Blonde locked in last place: the Amish got their first win in five weeks, but are almost certain of relegation. Moss had four HR and eight RBI for them, with Ramirez homering twice, and Sale picking up a W + 12 K. Blonde took Sv, behind a pair from Perkins; Gonzales had two HR + five RBI.

Wieter and McGrit both face lower tier opposition too this week, as the final round become crunch time for all four sides.
