Triple A: Reno 8 Salt Lake 3. The Aces faced off against former Ace Barry Enright and got the best of him scoring 5 times in the first 2 frames. Nate Adcock got the win with 2 shutout innings in relief of Matt Wright. Tyler Bortnick had a big night going 3 for 5 including his 3rd home run. Juan Rivera went 2 for 5 with a 3-run homer and 5 RBI.
Double A: Mobile 7 Jackson 2. Bo Schultz had a nice start going 6 innings allowing 1 run. Justin Greene led a balanced attack going 2 for 4 with a triple and an RBI.
High A: Visalia 8 Modesto 7. The Rawhide won in walk-off fashion on a Jake Lamb solo home run in the bottom of the 9th. Visalia overcame a 6-1 deficit with 5 runs in the 4th inning. Gerson Montilla had a double, a home run (17) and 3 RBI to lead the comeback. Lamb added a single to his game winning homer. Kevin Medrano went 2 for 3 with 2 walks and 2 RBI.
Low A: South Bend 2 @ Fort Wayne 5. Jesse Darrah was pitching well until he blinked first surrendering 3 runs in the 7th to break a 1-1 tie. The only offense came from 2 solo home runs from Rudy Flores.
Short Season A: Hillsboro 5 @ Eugene 0. Ross Gerdeman tossed a complete game shutout with 8 strikeouts and the offense did plenty to earn him the victory. Daniel Palka was promoted from Missoula and hit a 2-run home run.
Rookie: Missoula 10 @ Grand Junction 3. Tom Jameson had a solid start and the offense was not left wanting with 10 runs on 15 hits. Jose Queliz went 4 for 5 with a double. Ryan Kinsella (demoted to make room for Palka) went 3 for 5 with 2 triples. Joe Munoz hit his 6th homer.
AZL Rookie: Dbacks 3 Reds 2. After allowing a run in the 9th to tie it, and another in the top of the 12th to take a 1-run lead, Missoula rallied with 2 in the bottom half on a Yeisson Rosaio walk-off 2-run homer. Henry Castilli and Raul Garcia each had a couple of hits. Eric Chavez started as the DH and made 2 plate appearances. Sean Furney tossed 6 shutout innings. Brody Greer added 3 shutout innings to get the win with 4 strikeouts.
