Diamondbacks 5, Orioles 4

Arizona struck first on Wednesday afternoon, taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a Matt Davidson single to score Martin Prado. But Patrick Corbin stumbled through the second inning, giving up a two RBI single to Nick Markakis and a two run home run to Manny Machado to give Baltimore an early lead. The pitching locked down after that point, though, keeping Baltimore off the board for the rest of the game, while the Diamondbacks chipped away at the deficit.

The runs came from a variety of players for Arizona, with a Parra triple in the second scoring Didi Gregorius, a Prado single in the seventh bringing pinch runner Tony Campana around, and an Aaron Hill single scored Parra to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth and send Arizona and Baltimore to extra innings.

Josh Collmenter took the mound in the tenth, pitching three innings and striking out five to keep the Orioles scoreless. After Heath Bell gave another solid, scoreless inning, Bud Norris gave up two walks to start the bottom of the fourteenth, and another single from Aaron Hill hit a one out single up the middle to bring Parra around and give Arizona their third walkoff win and a sweep of the Orioles.
