Mike Bolsinger was sent to AAA Reno to pitch for two reasons. One, because Reno was getting desperate for pitching. But two, becuase he's earned it with the way he was pitching in Mobile. So all he did was go out and give Reno some quality innings that allowed the offense to win the game without having to score 10 runs. Bolsinger went 6 innings allowing 1 run on 4 hits and 6 walks with 7 strikeouts. The walks are a bit worrying and more often than not 6 walks in the PCL will lead to getting you killed. But Bolsinger pitched around the walks and Reno was able to end its 8-game losing streak. With the rotation problems Arizona is suddenly facing, Bolsinger has quietly worked his way into the conversation if another arm is suddenly needed.
