J.J. Putz pitched again for Reno in his final rehab appearance in back-to-back games and if the quotes that are appearing on Twitter are accurate everything looks to be a go. He started the game as he did in his other rehab outings allowing no runs or hits and one walk. His arrival couldn't come too soon as most of the buzz of late among the Dbacks faithful surrounds who should be closing with Heath Bell mired in a gopher ball slump. Speculation seems to indicate that he will be activated Wednesday or Thursday and join the team on its current road trip. In four games with Reno covering four innings Putz allowed 1 run on 2 hits and 3 walks with 4 strikeouts.
