This game looked destined to be another late inning collapse until Paul Goldschmidt put Brandon League's fastball about 400 feet behind him. Some bad news though, as JJ Putz left the game in the 9th inning with elbow soreness.
A good round up from Nick. It was nice to see Brandon McCarthy start to turn it around.
