Gameday Thread, #6: 4/7 vs. Brewers

Two winning streaks go on the line today. The Brewers have never lost a start against us with Gallardo on the mound, and the Undertaker has never lost at Wrestlemania. Coincidence? Or something more sinister?

First, as promised, here's the Arizona line-up:

  1. Gerardo Parra, CF
  2. Martin Prado, LF
  3. Aaron Hill, 2B
  4. Miguel Montero C,
  5. Paul Goldschmidt, 1B
  6. Jason Kubel, RF
  7. Eric Chavez, 3B
  8. Cliff Pennington, SS
  9. Ian Kennedy, P

Same as yesterday then. Kirk Gibson can't be feeling well: this is the sixth game of the season, and we've only seen three different line-ups? What's that all about? Anyway, I hope today's game is over quickly, or at least, doesn't run 16 innings, since we're off to a friend's house to watch Wrestlemania at about 3pm. Maybe, in order to beat Gallardo, we need to send J.J. Putz in to steal the urn containing the ashes of Gallardo's dead father, and hold them hostage. [The "swooshing" sound you just heard, was that reference being cleared for take-off above the heads of, oh, I dunno, 90% of readers' heads.]

Not going to be easy, but should be fun.
