Diamondbacks 8, Brewers 7: AZ sweeps Gallardo away
This game had its ugly moments: the offense wasted a bases-loaded no-out opportunity and Putz blew a two-run lead in the ninth inning. But the end result is the D'backs beat the Brewers behind Gallardo for the first time ever, capping a series sweep.

It took ten attempts, but the Diamondbacks finally managed to beat the Brewers in a game involving Yovani Gallardo. They wasted some early chances, blew a ninth-inning lead, and nearly blew it again in the 11th. But clutch hits from the heart of the order led the fight-back, and a two-run Eric Hinske homer in the 11th won it. on a day where neither Gallardo nor our starter, Ian Kennedy, had their best stuff.

Two winning streaks go on the line today. The Brewers have never lost a start against us with Gallardo on the mound, and the Undertaker has never lost at Wrestlemania. Coincidence? Or something more sinister?
