D'Backs 3, Brewers 1

A two run wild pitch was the difference as the D'Backs took the first of three against Milwaukee.

Mike McGinnis

No, seriously, two dudes scored on a wild pitch. It was awesome. Wade Miley showed that his dead-arm issues during the Spring may have been some high class trolling, as he struck out 9 and walked only 1 in 6 innings pitched.

The Brewers did not have Ryan Braun in the lineup due to neck spasms, and could not muster anything more than a solo shot by Jean Segura (it was his first career HR, so that's nice I guess?)

Mike Gonzalez threw a wild pitch with the bases loaded in the 7th inning that Jonathan Lucroy could not locate which caused Paul Goldschmidt and Jason Kubel to score.

Brad Ziegler, David Hernandez, and J.J Putz all threw scoreless frames to close the game out.
