Couple of interesting bits of news. The D-backs won't be making a move with regard to Didi Gregorius - in part, it appears, because they don't have any other infielders on the 40-man roster. He may well not have been in the line-up today anyway, with a left-hander on the mound, but they are playing it understandably cautious. For now, they'll play a man short and hope we don't find ourselves in any long-inning situations. Also, looks like we could be getting Jason Kubel back: he's likely to spend a couple of days at Reno early next week, so I would imagine he will be available after the off-day for the series in San Diego which starts on Friday.
Short preview today, since I still haven't got back into the swing of these 5:10pm starts, and thought we were playing at 6:40pm as usual. However, if you are reading this, we have two lower-level tickets for tomorrow afternoon's game, courtesy of the Asteroids, which will be given to the first person to speak up in the comments. Pick-up will have to be arranged: Mrs. SnakePit currently has them in her possession, therefore it may be slightly easier for someone on the West side of town, but she'll also be heading over to Tempe later tonight, so we have some flexibility.
