Hope you brought a caffeinated beverage, because we get to stay up late tonight as the D-backs take part in a rare evening game, against the Brewers at Salt River Fields. There's also a webcast, so you can tune in to that. This one will be Scotsman-free. :)

Yep, J.J. becomes the 42nd pitcher of spring for the Diamondbacks, finally pitching in the 20th Cactus League game, like the kid who meanders his way into class half an hour late, with a sly grin on his face. We also get the Venezuelan contingent back, and there's no time for jet-lag, with all three going straight into the starting line-up. Well, not as if they were overtaxed running round the basepaths in the WBC, was it? What? Too soon? Meanwhile, Italy are facing Puerto Rico in an elimination game in Miami, and the Italians, as against the Dominican Republic, have taken the lead. Can their bullpen hold it this time? Stay tuned...
