Diamondbacks at the winter meetings: Day three open thread

I kinda hope things are quieter, not least because I'll be back at work today, and they probably want me to do something other than refresh Twitter every 90 seconds. I would imagine we'll still be kicking the tires on starting pitchers, however, and perhaps we may also see movement on filling the left-handed bench and backup catcher moves.

I went through the meetings' prediction thread, and tallied up the points resulting from the Trumbo trade. Points were scored for him arriving, Skaggs and Eaton leaving, deals with the White Sox or Angels, and if anyone had predicted we'd trade for a 1B, they'd have scored too. Because, by the rules of "2013 activity", that's what Trumbo count as, with 114 starts for Anaheim. Quite a number of people did pick Trumbo, and quite a few the Angels, but no-one went with 1B. Here is everyone with a non-zero score to date.
