Post-season Gameday Thread #18: Tigers Bite Back

The Tigers got to Jake Peavy early yesterday, and this time, there was no late-inning meltdown, as they evened the series at two games apiece. Who'll take the advantage, before the series heads back to Boston on Saturday?

After three consecutive games decided by a single run, last night's game felt like the biggest blowout in baseball history, even though the Tigers only ended up winning by four runs. Still, it was something of an offensive outburst for Detroit, as they matched their tally over the previous two games combined in the second inning alone. May not be as easy tonight, as this sees a rematch of the Game 1 contest, which ended 1-0, with the Tigers coming extremely close to the first combined no-hitter in post-season history. Not that Lester was chopped liver in the contest, allowing one run and pitching into the seventh inning. Could be another close one tonight.
