Gameday Thread, #150: 9/21 vs. Rockies

Wade Miley
LHP, 15-10, 3.10

Drew Pomeranz
LHP, 1-9, 5.06

If we can beat Pomeranz tonight, it will sink his record to 1-10, which is pretty elite company in terms of suckage. Only six NL pitchers since 1993 have lost double-digit games while winning one or less. Impressively, one of those is active this year, Fernando Rodriguez who, you will not be surprised to learn, plays for the Houston Astros. Impressively, he has managed to do it without a single start. If he keeps that up over the last two weeks, he'll be only the second NL reliever in baseball history to do so badly, following Gary Lucas of the 1982 Padres, who went 1-10, while also getting 16 saves. Let's see if we can consign Pomeranz to the trashcan of history tonight.
