Series finale in Los Angeles, with a split of the four-game set already in the bag. However, having won the first two games, coming away with a mere 50/50 break would seem somehow disappointing. The pitching has been stepping it up for some time: time for the offense to get their act together and score more than four runs for the first time since we were the Pangaea Diamondbacks. Ok: it's really only 11 games, but that's the worst such streak since 13 straight in September 2008 (not since May 2007, as I said yesterday: told you, no-one reads those things). Tacos would be nice. Well, "nice" is a stretch. I wouldn't eat them, of course: I just appreciate what they represent.

AzDbackfanInDc is guest recapping this one, so that should be interesting. Line-up after the jump,

  1. Chris Young CF
  2. Aaron Hill 2B
  3. Justin Upton RF
  4. Jason Kubel LF
  5. Paul Goldschmidt 1B
  6. Miguel Montero C
  7. Chris Johnson 3B
  8. John McDonald SS
  9. Wade Miley P

Kubel back in the line-up against a left-hander this afternoon, having been sat yesterday against a right-handed starter, before coming in late, and facing LOOGY Randy Choate. Not what I'd have done, but then, I don't have an MVP award on my mantelpiece. Actually, neither does Gibson, technically, but you know what I mean.
