"How do you know we're not? Maybe it's never been done before, but there are great stories in sports all around the continent. That's just the way I think. You guys think I'm crazy, but I have been through several things throughout my career in different capacities and competing, and I've lived some very, very good dreams. That's where I stand."
-- Kirk Gibson

Of course, that's what he would say. But the Cardinals just lost again. If the D-backs can beat the Ugliest Man in Baseball tonight, we'll be four behind the Cardinals for the second wild-card spot. Yes, it's still a slim chance. But it's better than none. Our elimination number at this point is 11 for the division and 16 for that second wild-card spot. Any combo of that number of AZ losses and Giants/Cardinals wins will end the season. Just so you know... Line-up after the jump, kishi on the recap.
