It's time to update my Top 60 prospects list from late June after several trades and promotions, not to mention a better look at some of the youngsters now that they have some at bats under their belts. I still have Bauer listed in the top spot but I had to give Skaggs a long look. In the end I based it on Bauer's higher ceiling and more impressive array of plus pitches he can work with. But it was very close. The next three spots all were the same, but I bumped Chris Owings up to 6th based on his play in an advanced league at such a young age. I also flip-flopped Eaton and Pollock based on Eaton's performance so far this year. But Pollock's looking good too. One of the biggest jumps on the list comes from Michael Perez who is really looking like a plus-plus catcher who can hit. I nudged him ahead of Trahan because he'll be staying at catcher while the jury is still out on Trahan. Another big jumper was Keon Broxton who in the last couple of months is starting to show his potential and has really cut down on his strikeouts. A couple of other big risers are INF Andrew Velazquez who was tearing up the AZL before spraining his ankle, and Ender Inciarte who is having a breakout year in Visalia after starting out in South Bend. See the full list of my Top 60 after the jump.
