Wade LeBlanc
LHP, 2-2, 2.50

Wade Miley
LHP, 13-8, 2.96

I could be wrong, but suspect that this might be the only time in major-league history that opposing left-handed starters with the first name of Wade have gone up against each other. And they get to do it as the night-cap on the first ever double-header at Chase Field! Truly a match-up for the ages. Hopefully, the result will be a propitious for the Diamondbacks as the one this afternoon was, and we can go 2-0 for games started by left-handed rookie pitchers on the day. That'd be nice.

soco will be providing your second recap of the day. Line-up for the remake of this afternoon's contest after the jump. I'm hoping it's more like The Fly than Footloose.

  1. A.J. Pollock LF
  2. Gerardo Parra RF
  3. Aaron Hill 2B
  4. Paul Goldschmidt 1B
  5. Chris Young CF
  6. Chris Johnson 3B
  7. Wil Nieves C
  8. John McDonald SS
  9. Wade Miley P

Quite a few changes from the afternoon: Kubel > Pollock, Wheeler > Johnson, Elmore > McDonald and Montero > Nieves. Parra and Hill, responsible for both scoring and driving all three runs this afternoon, get to pull double duty and go again.
