A battle tonight between Trevor "Look, can we just skip the first inning?" Cahill and Aaron "Why is everyone covering up their clocks?" Harang, as the Diamondbacks go into the den of the joint NL West leaders. The Dodgers clawed their way back, after 16 days out of first, thanks to a sweep of the Giants in San Francisco. They've been pretty streaky of late, having gone L4, W5, L3, W3 since just after the All-Star break. Hopefully, we'd turn things around on them, as the Diamondbacks haven't been beaten over a series in Los Angeles since the end of 2010. taking all three series their last season, and splitting a two-game back in May.
The first post-Overbay line-up and other thoughts after the jump.

Upton back in the line-up after getting the day off yesterday, and our new third-baseman makes his first start for the Diamondbacks. He's the third Johnson to play for Arizona, which brings that surname to a tie for second place, alongside Gonzalez and Hernandez. Anyone care to guess what's the most common surname in team history? Answer will be in the recap.
