A win today would give Arizona a 5-2 week, and with Kershaw pitching for Los Angeles this afternoon against the Giants, would also give us an excellent chance of pulling to within 3.5 games of both teams ahead of us. Of course, that is easier said and done against Dickey, who held us to one run on four hits over eight innings when we faced him in New York in May. Hopefully, the Diamondbacks will have a better approach this afternoon. We'll be at the game, so fingers crossed - both for a victory, and for Mrs. SnakePit to come up trumps in Kachingko, which she'll be playing during the middle innings!
Hotclaws is guest recapping this one, so stick around for that. Line-up after the jump.

Justin Upton is kept out of the line-up for precautionary reasons, after fouling a ball off himself during the late innings of yesterday's contest. Otherwise, what's becoming a semi-standard line-up: Bloomquist gets what may be his final start at third-base, with the acquisition of Chris Johnson.
