Well, as least I don't have to stare at BlaphemyBieber today, yesterday's game proving that he doesn't play well against anyone else. And, it would appear, nor do the Diamondbacks, as any momentum resulting from the series victory over the Dodgers, was washed away entirely in the rain of Wrigley. With the Dodgers and Giants managing to prevail over their less-fancied opponents, it was a bad day for Arizona's chances in the NL West. Could be more rain today, with the forecast giving a chance of rain at 35%, so we'll see how that works out.

Wailord on the recap. Can he bring us a Saturday win?

  1. Gerardo Parra LF .279
  2. Aaron Hill 2B .300
  3. Justin Upton RF .270
  4. Miguel Montero C .268
  5. Paul Goldschmidt 1B .301
  6. Stephen Drew SS .226
  7. Chris Young CF .200
  8. Geoff Blum 3B .143
  9. Joe Saunders P .095

Kubel out of the line-up, having tweaked his hammy yesterday. Doesn't sound too serious, but they'll want to give him a day or two, with a brutal schedule of games coming up. Blum gets the start at third: while the BA's for the top-half of our order look perky enough, the drop-off after Goldzilla is theme-parkesque. Drew has largely been BABIP'd to his .226, but got it going the right direction yesterday. Joe's back off the DL, as Clefo reported: hopefully, he'll do better than Kennedy.
